We’re a family owned home remodeling company based right here in Austin, Texas. Since 2021, the Cornerstone team has been on a simple mission: to make remodeling feel less like a headache and more like a partnership. No more stressing over whether your vision will actually come to life. We handle the hard part so you don’t have to, and we bring a little hospitality back to construction while we’re at it.
From full-home renovations to kitchen and bathroom remodels across Austin and Central Texas, we treat every project like it’s our own home. Learn more about our journey below.
Hey y’all, Joe and Julie here. We wanted to take a minute to introduce ourselves.
We feel blessed to be from the great state of Texas, raising our four beautiful children while chasing a dream we believe in. Joe was born and raised right here in Austin, and his passion for the trade runs deep. He runs the construction and business development side of things, hands-on from the first walkthrough to the final nail. Julie is a UT alumni with a background in interior design, and there’s nothing she loves more than watching a client’s vision turn into a space they never want to leave.
Together, we take on full home flips, client remodels, and personal projects, all while raising our kids in the city we love so much. When you work with Cornerstone, you’re not handed off to a stranger. You’re working directly with the family whose name is on the door.
The principles that guide every hammer swing and design choice we make.
Our mission is to bring your vision to life and build living spaces that reflect the same love and attention we'd give our own home. As a family-owned business, we carry our values of trust, care, and dedication into every project, and we treat every client like part of the family. That's not a tagline for us. It's how we were raised.
COur vision is to keep Austin fresh, modern, and unmistakably Austin. As born-and-raised Austinites, we understand what makes this city special, and we're not here to change it. We're here to renew and revitalize homes with clean, current design that fits the way people actually live. That's the goal, to help Austin homeowners step into the modern era without losing what makes their house feel like home.
Our guarantee is simple: we'll earn your satisfaction through quality work, honest communication, and genuine hospitality. We're here to be one of the best remodeling contractors in Central Texas, and the way we see it, our job isn't finished until we've earned that title on your project.
"Cornerstone Home Renovations was inspired by the hardest-working man I've ever known. It was an honor to be his grandson, and I'm proud of everything he built in the Corpus Christi, Texas area. Now we strive to carry on his legacy. Abuelito Eliseo is pictured on the right, standing next to a church he built by hand for his community. That's the kind of man he was. A selfless man of faith, impeccable work ethic, and family at his core. Now, I strive to carry on his legacy."
Eliseo was a man of deep faith and conviction, and it showed in everything he did. At Cornerstone, we carry that same faith and conviction into every home we work on.
(Matthew 17:20-21)
Eliseo's love for his family showed in the way he cared for his ten children and his beautiful wife, Maria Davila, through 74 years of marriage. The kindness and compassion he passed down are the same values we bring to every client and every project we take on today.
Whether you’re dreaming about a new kitchen, a full-home renovation, or finally fixing that space that’s never worked right, we’d love to hear about it. As Austin’s premier residential remodeling team, we’re ready when you are.
Serving Austin, Round Rock, Cedar Park, Georgetown, Pflugerville, Leander, and the surrounding Central Texas area.
